Intake extension fail

7.5" long

Idles fine -no vacuum leaks. Runs like garbage. Throttle response is all over the place. Can't reach top speed. Blah.

Anyone else try this & fail? Did you have to mess with the Geometry to tune it? And did it finally run decent?

It does sound cool though...


Oh yeah, & I broke off one of the tabs on the carb, lmao

No vacuum leaks.. so could it be vibration foaming the fuel in the bowl and splashing it around?

I just took it off. Runs fine stock. Idk, it just didn't work out for me

always had to fasten carb to frame (even if just zipties) to stop vibs that far out
