Hello. I am researching alternative transportation and motorized bikes seems like a way to go. I have ridden Motor scooters, Trail Bikes, Mopeds and regular bicycles. As I age, most quick motorized things seem to be of less interest. (falling off is less fun when your bones become more brittle)I remember a kid that had a motorized bicycle when I was a kid, in the 50's, and he would flip a valve, run along side it to an appropriate speed and then flip back the switch, get it started popping and jump on. If everything went well then he had speed. A motorized bicycle seems to be a better option than a golf cart or one of those Community Electric Vehicles.
