Is a real mz65 pipe really all that and worth it

My CNC 38T has been on one of those hub adapters for 487 miles now with no problems. My hub adapter has more than twice that mileage on it.

One of these CNC sprockets was actually what i was kinda looking at getting. https://www.cdhpower.com/cdh-cnc-1-5-inch-rear-hub-adapter-36t-cnc-sprocket.html . but i hear alot of people prefer the rag-joint after trying a hub mount. so i`m hesitant.
There is nothing wrong with the adapter, it just has to fit your hub snuggly. Then drill it for a roll pin, tap in the pin so you can mark your hub, drill the hub and tap the roll pin in the rest of the way.

Don't bother trying to pin it if it doesn't fit right in anyway, the motion of the drive train is just going to wreck your hub.

My Nazz came with a smaller 1.25" diameter hub and I used an adapter on it. No roll pin, no key stock or cutting into the hub. Instead I keyed the surfaces of both lightly with some 80 grit, cleaned both well with brake parts cleaner, and installed it using loctite 638 retaining compound. Gave it the full 24 hours to cure. It held up to my 260lbs with 700c wheels and a 36 tooth sprocket (LOTS of loading) with a Phantom 85 pulling on it. For the entire 300+ miles of break in before I changed wheels.

That hub adapter is still on there. I have to heat it with a torch to about 400 degrees to make the compound release.

I use the same stuff to accurize AR10 and 15 barrels that aren't quite a press fit. Makes barrel changes fun lol

My freewheel on my mag decided to open to a flood of little ball bearings going everywhere I think I found them all trying to rebuild it in the morning all I did was touch the plate on it and boom bbs everywhere used a magnet to find them all at least I hope all

A real mz65 would just be starting to get into the power band around 6000 to 7000rpm. You would likely see a small bump in rpm up high resulting in a slightly higher top speed, but at the sacrifice of the lower rpm power. Unfortunately no single bolt on pipe on the market is all that well tuned for these motors. The WC80 pipe being the ever so slightly better alternative to the real mz65 due to a ever so slightly longer header tube before the chamber.
do you know where i can get a real mz65?

I got mine off ebay. They aren't cheap like the clone pipes from bikeberry, usually 2 to 3 times the price.
