Is it my imagination

let'em do(gov) what there gonna do, change laws, charge for sticker. l'm still riding free, there gonna have to catch my ash...........

I wish it was easier for me to register my ratbike in Boston so that I can rest assured I'm not going to get pulled over. I want to register it as a "motor assisted bike" not a moped. Dax was very clear that this should be classed differently from a moped because it didn't start out it's life with that purpose.

$8 would be worth the peace of mind, when riding in officer rich territory. When I built my first bike I went out of my way to try and register it as something. I was rebuffed by officialdom and have been happy in my little grey area of the law since.

Edward,
have you heard anything about that kansas bill? I forgot the #, but I read about in 2005.
I'm curious as to whether it passed or got squashed!
and ya know....I would be the last to know if it passed.
and probably walking home.....after my bike's been impounded. hahaha

I rocked up to lights 3 BIG dudes in leathers l looked over
I said "ITS ONLY A PUSH BIKE"
4 pepole leave lights ****ING SELVES LAUGHING
what more could you ask for

Why this hobby is booming:
1) Built with our own two hands.
2) With that,Harley guys nod with approval.
3) Way cooler than a moped
4) You can ride the bike trails.
5) All the kiddies think you are a GOD.
6) Way cool pulling up at work then locking your bike with the pedal bikes.
7) You are a rebel in this cruel world.
8 ) Girls love you...maybe not...but maybe.
9) You are saving the world.
10)Life is too short. Life is fun.

i work with a bunch a bunch of harley guys and a bunch of crotch rocket guys so the first day i pulled in they all laughed and the laughter got louder when i used a parking spot for my bike.
