I was wondering, is there any Beach Cruiser Style frames that are specifically made for motorize bikes?? IE Thicker grade steel, stronger wields, Reenforced for motorized applications?

Edit: to be clear I know the felt fakers exist, but I'm talking a more traditional beach cruiser style like the Schwinn Stingrays.

Though some very old bicycles from the mid 70s' and before had thicker tubing none of them were specifically made with the intentions of putting an engine on them. Unfortunately, most of these old frames have considerable rust damage.

At the turn of the 1900s' people started putting engines on some of the French style bicycles. This then led to frames being specifically made for what became the first motorcycles. Later frames got made for scooter/mopeds.

If you look up the early forum photos you'll find many of those builds were rear rack builds.

The best bike I have found is the hyper cruiser from Walmart, but it needs it's wheels upgraded.

Here is a picture of Gordy's Hyper Beach Cruiser as well as a Picture of mine, we both opted to go with different styles of what we wanted our bikes to look like though...lol...Mine has been on the road for 5 years now...Gordy's has been around for about a year.

Be aware that those are EXACTLY the very reasons why Gordy and myself decided to use the Hyper Beach Cruiser bike frame as our base to build upon.

And this is the tutorial a wrote a few years back to show everyone how I did mine complete with all the links to find the same parts I used at the actual sires to purchase them from that will also have the current prices of everything.

Supposedly the hyper is well built. If you can find a Chicago Schwinn, those are boat anchors but quite possibly the best option. Heavy gage, mild still. Pre nikasil so that stock is pure 1010 A36, damn near wrought iron. It's very fatigue resistant.

Though the Hyper Cruiser is an excellent choice for building a motorized bicycle; it wasn't specifically designed with the intent of putting an engine on it. The only frames I know that are specifically designed with the intent of putting an engine on them is the Workman frames. They copy the old French style frames. You could also look up Whizzer bicycle frames; they too are designed with the intent of putting an engine on them.

My bike frame for my CG bike kit engine is from a J.C. Higgins/ Steyr 3 speed, made in Austria from 1957. This bike is nearly as old as I am!

The J.C. Higgins frame seat and downtube angles are a perfect match for this older 48cc engine, makes it great for a CG bike engine that it drops in perfectly with some spacers without having any mismatch on the engine's frame clamps.
