So I have my weird ti my CSU and magneto Protected pretty damn well. First I have heat shrink over the connections then I have electrical tape wrapped around the rest, then some wire protection tubing stuff, and more electrical tape, then finally some medical tape. I was wondering if this would enough where I can ride in the rain or extend the life of my magneto and CDI…

It's way over kill probably soak up water... Use rtv on the gasket and around the hole where the wires come out and wrap the wires in tape at a 45° angle over laying 1/2 the thickness of the tape in one direction then 90° to that the other way... So it's like a diamond pattern...
