Can 3 twelve volt batteries be wired so as to get 24 volts out of them....I have a 24 volt,350 watt hub motor, I'm interested in more range...

nope.. ( not without using a DC/Dc converter, and that's wastefull, and not readily available for the power output you need ) .. if you get 4 of them you can put 2 in parallel, and 2 of those in series for 24v however !
