Ditch the Monark and get a Sunlite fork. The Monark is built too light, and those forward-facing dropouts do a really sh*t job of holding the front wheel.
OBH makes an important point, reproduction Monark forks are not in the same class as Sunlite.
I bought a Monark one look and back in the box it went, might end up on my Huffy build to get it sold.

I think I found the problem. I should've been using a bolt-through hub rather than a quick-release. I've ordered one and will report back once I'm able to test it.
The only bolt-through disc hubs I could find were 36-spoke, and this one was 32-spoke, so I kinda had to buy a new wheel. The first one's gonna end up for sale once I find the time.
