I got to take my new MB out today for a good long ride for the first time. I recieved the kit and assembled it on Thurs. and sure enough as soon as I was finished it started to rain. And it rained. And it rained.
We got more rain here in the Chicago area than we have in I don't know how many years. Floods everywhere. Highways still closed today including 80-94. Don't know if I-65 is open yet or not.
Anyway, it was the bees knees. I found a really nice route that doesn't have very much auto traffic. Lots of curves and hills and good roads. Part of the route goes around a nice lake in a really ritzy neighborhood with brand new streets.
The bike ran great and I got lots of smiles and waves. The housewifes and the lady joggers also added nicely to the scenery.
