the "spam filter" requires one legit post and a 24-hour wait period...i think the 24-hour part is what confuses people. we realize it's a frustrating inconvenience, but please note the absence of spam on MBc...we think it's worth it.
tom will look into it just in case.
btw-since you have to make at least one post anyway, we suggest you use it to "introduce yourself"

yeah. You wouldn't believe how much spam we were getting without that filter. probably a message a day at least
