I messed up im not exactly sure where yet but when I came out this morning she was frozen solid. Can't even get cylinder off. Had to leave for work. It embarrassing but my first time here out of many yrs of building motors and vehicles.... phantom 85. Locked solid. 2 fairly easy test runs by no means abuse. Good 20:1 valentine conventional mix. Pug inspection lean... it never bogged. I couldn't tell st all. Any input appreciated. Thanks guys. Bad day.

Getting stuck while not running is a new one. Not a common Phantom issue unless it managed to snag and break a ring while running, and then somehow wedged itself after shutting it down.

Is the engine still under warranty?
2nd hand never had the warranty myself... I assume impulse rocket is correct too. It may have to become an ld build. Salvage reed and exhaust add see what I Can do. Obviously window a piston.

Until you can take it apart you have no idea what may be going on. It could be a crank bearing locked up, or something funky with the clutch, etc. Don't try to solve the problem with speculation as you will just get into your own head.

A wild guess ? Overheated and it has cold welded itself together. Hit it hard with the penetrating oil and it may free up.
As was mentioned, take it apart and have a look.

Well after a serious fight it appears there was a bur on the exhaust port. Of which the problem stemmed the friction caused an overheat as it sat it locked solid. Took an hour to get it apart it really wanted to stay. The lower appear un damaged aside the force required to free the piston. Which was alot. After a thorough cleaning. I've order piston, jug, rings, needle bearing...ect. what loss man but I will prevail. Torque wise it beat the ld but the ld has the same top speed much better cooling. I will rebuild said phantom but waiting for parts build a second ld. Possibly sell second ld. Man am I bummed out tho.
