Hello,

I bought a jack shaft kit from Bikeberry.com. Got it all installed untill I went to put the bike chain on the inside sprocket of the chain ring guess what, it did not fit. The teeth are too wide for the KMC Narrow chain. How can I fix this without spending too much more money on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Tom

another option is buying some chain rings from sickbikeparts. there chain rings accept regular multispeed bike chain. plus you can get different size chainrings.

I was not able to find any of the 4-bolt ones just five bolt. Any other options and thank you for the suggestion

This is a couple of pictures of the chain ring sprockets for the BBR Tuning Jack shaft kit. 1st picture is the side view of the teeth on the pedal chain ring the second picture is the chain ring that is driven from the jack shaft sprocket. Both fit the 415 chain but will not fit the narrow chain. If anyone else has run into this problem please let me know.

I have a problem now with the chain ring rubbing on the bottom bracket housing of the bike (see the second picture). Do I need to get a longer spindle for the bottom bracket or is there a way to modify the one I have so that the chain ring does not rub on anything? I did notice that one end of the spindle was longer then the other end. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Tom
