Jaguar CDI Question

I don't know how to reach Jaguar to ask this question directly so maybe someone can answer for him. The instructions that I printed re: installing the product says if you need to extend the wires on the CDI go to Radio Shack and buy 22AWG wire. Well the Jaguar CDI I just received has 20AWG wire not 22. Small difference buy why the directive to extend a 20 gauge wire with a smaller 22?

Either size will work, but you are right in thinking the heavier gauge wire is best. Just be sure to tie them to the frame so they won't be flexing back and forth when traveling over bumps.
