Hi, I'm brand new here and I just built my first bike kit from bluecollarbikes.com onto a 10-speed mountain bike I bought at a yard sale. I had a little trouble with the front derailer (being in the way of the motor mount) and the kill switch (confusion about how to hook itup) and I'm still having a little trouble with the chain tensioner (pulling into the spokes) however asside from all of that, it's running pretty much just fine.
Has anybody else seen a problem where the chain tensioner gets pulled into the spokes on the rear wheel? I've tightened it down so much that it's crushing the tube I've got it clamped to. I'm working on an alternate mounting bracket for the tensioner roller which will go between two of the supports instead of sticking up from the lower one . . .

hey rj; that tensioner has cost in flesh and money. you might drill a small hole through the tnsr and intl the frame and insert small metal screw.--search tensioner tractor supply co
