Hey, just dropping by. I have been interested in mounting a motor on my old Mongoose for a while but it just isn't something I'll use often. I was scanning through the discussions and saw something I might be able to add a little technical info to so I just had to register...

About me- I live in the outer suburbs of Atlanta, GA. I'm 28. Like to ride, but can't ride to work with the equipment I use in my business. LOL. Thanks for providing a site for discussion of motorized bikes, Tom. I thought I was the only one crazy enough to think of doing this...

It's too bad you can't use a motor assisted bicycle for work/commute.

Thanks guys. I might get around to building a conversion at some point, just not a priority right now. I'll definitely drop in from time to time though.
