Just here for the technical aspects.

Center tube? do you mean top tube, or downtube? Most of the "cruisers" I see on this forum have both curved top, and down tubes.

Most cruisers do have the curved top tube and down tubes. Some older designs, like my '46 Columbia have yet another tube, and for lack of the technical term I have been calling it a center tube. This is a horizontal tube running from the seat tube to the down tube, a few inches below the top tube. See what I'm talking about in this photo:

I did. But trying to search for the sort of things I'm searching for.... Doesn't come up easily. For instance "what size frame did you use." It became readily appearant that most people on this forum don't care about frame size, or just plain didn't know that frames came in measured sizes. You can't expect someone to read an entire forum looking for the tiniest tidbit of information. Not that this is a huge forum or anything.....

Once again, the information did come free from the forum members. And thank you both for that information.

You are most welcomed,

Scroll down just past the chain and frying pan pictures.

You will see 2 pictures, 1 with a bike on the left, and on the right has a picture with the minimum measure marked out in yellow lines.
