I've had this engine for years now but thinking of doing something with it maybe putting it on a bike. I have a cnc jackshaft plate for it that was on my 79cc bike I had. Missing the sprocket on the jackshaft that links the shaft and the clutch. I ordered gaskets for it at one point but ny mom either misplaced them or threw them away. I need a crankcase gasket and rocker gasket. The main problem is the valve guides. One is worse than the other but it looks wollered out and there is side to side play. I checked and a head is over $200 and I could get a new Chinese engine for cheaper. Missing the crankcase bolts which seem to be m6. Does anyone think this gold colored bolt is a m8x 1.0 or maybe a m7 I forget but it needs the top left bolt hole tapped (I drilled it at some point) A few years ago I removed the governor. This engine came from the amish country.

It's not your Moms fault

M8 1.25mm is a common head bolt , but ya better make sure before ya tap anything

I've noticed M7 is used in special places, because M-7 is not commonly used

I'm talking about one of the sidecover bolts not head bolts I think those are in the bag with the rocker stuff originally the top left wasn't drilled and tapped from factory, at some point I drilled it. I don't have a thread pitch gauge to see what it is.

You'll figure it out. I would think a side cover bolt would be a M6 or M5

Sorry I can't tell bolt size from a pic

Do what I do when dealing with an unknown...Take one of the original bolts with you to a hardware store like Lowes Hardware or Home Depot, they have those little gauge things hanging up in the nuts, bolts, and screw aisles that you use to match up with those size charts and remove all doubt as to what you have and what you're looking for.
