"kick start"

quick question. i have seen many videos and people in person kick over a 2stroke 66cc by lifting the rear wheel and kicking down the pedal. so why is it i cant do the same with my chopper, is it because i only have one speed?, maybe there mountain bikes and cruisers have the bike on a easy gear? it seems like i have alot more compression than kick starting my bike like that would allow. for now its the everyday pedal pop the clutch and go. i was just wondering

just start it the regular way, that's what its meant to do bud

single speed bikes are WAY harder to start unless you put a smaller sprocket on the pedal crank & a larger sprocket on the rear wheel
