Killed CDI?

So, I made a dumb thing, I connected 12v 7Ah battery to the cdi wires few times, do you think i killed the cdi?

Not sure why you did that.. I'm pretty sure the magneto is 6 volts.

No you need it timed that's why there's a magneto...

Maybe you should look it up before you do it. I'm kinda mad over this... Just get a new cheap CDI

It amazes me how many people have no idea on how ignition, electrical or the 2 stroke engines work or even better which end of the screwdriver to hold onto. If you don't know what it is or how it works then leave it alone. You will only end up costing yourself more money

Hey as long as you learn from your mistakes you are making progress. But, if you learn from other's mistakes it doesn't cost as much. The post I read previous to this one I learned what happens to 2 strokes when you don't use an exhaust.

Yup, got to tinker with stuff if you wanna learn about it from experience! It's how most of us got started wrenching!

Researching is easier to do than ever, which definitely helps. . o O (breaking stuff can get expensive)
