I thought I hated the clutch lever till I replaced it, then rode the bike, Now I think i hate the throttle more. I'm expecting it to break any minute.

Did anyone ever try a thumb shifter as a replacement throttle.

Just as long as it moves the carb slide up and down but I would think that your thumb would get a little sore after awhile especially in a bumppy area.

I havn't tried a thumb throttle personally but a friend did....he hated it and went back to the standard throttle. The standard twist throttle works pretty well...u just need to make sure it's of good quality and design and made of metal.

the trigger style that GEBE uses is very comfortable.

however, if you prep your kit throttle it should give you plenty of good service.

try the "similar threads" below and see if they're any help.

This is a post regarding kit mechanicals...

I thought this was MB.c's Off Topic forum?

Everything else here is ruled with an iron fist. What gives? Hahaha....

I believe the forum software allows moderators to move a thread from one forum to another... do so and delete my post. :)~
