Klein Mantra Engine/Engine mount

I’m not very electrically inclined and I think ICE is cooler, but electric is def the way to go from a practical standpoint.

I just was looking at some frames on Facebook and got me thinking what would be some interesting platforms for motorized bikes
Most mid drives are p&p, no need to wire much. Just have to run them and tape out of the way.

Interesting, thanks for the input everyone. I think I'll do some soul-searching to figure out what requirements and expectations I have for it to determine what direction I'd like to go in. I've seen a few GT LTS builds and I was kinda surprised nobody has taken a shot with these URT bikes.

Also, noob question what is the need for a jack shaft in this case? What issues would I run into mounting the engine so it's output is to the right and have it run directly to the cassette? I'm mostly referring to the engine chain lube posted.

A jack shaft is used to space out the drive chain. Such would be the case with the little engine I posted, the drive chain won't line up with the rear wheel sprocket in a straight line. Two chains would then be used, one from the engine to jack shaft and the one from the jack shaft to rear wheel.
