Knarled vs splined roller

Anyone using the latest splined rollers from Staton? What's your opinion on them for traction vs the older knarled rollers? I liked the knarled rollers but they sure could tear a tire up if not careful, and they wore the knarled surface smooth at 1000 miles or so. Anyways any thoughts?

The knarled rollers wore out way to easy. I have the splined rollers, but haven't tried them out yet. I would think they would last longer.

I'm trying to get the clam shaped bolt on adapter rollers.

I have a Staton FD with the splined roller and like it. It does not slip in the rain if you go easy on the power.

splined roller here also, have 1680 miles on it this summer and it still seems to be going great. Do not know about how it does
in the rain, it does not rain much in Bend and I don't like to ride in it anyway.
