Yup, i cant believe i almost passed on it too.

Since my buddy couldn't sell it, he was ready to scrap the thing.

Made good progress today, finished up the jackshaft, installed the CNC sprocket, and got the belt on.

Ill need to figure out how to get a touch more tension on the belt, but for now its close enough!

When i saw the car got stolen I immediately thought city street but I guess a hunting camp is another place where goons can mess with people. It looks alot like oliver's only it has that unique sideshaft. I wonder what the speed would be. The self propelled feature only putts a few mph on the mower but since the pulleys are different not sure what it would do.

My guess would be around 30mph, possibly 40 if i gear it high.

Main thing is if it will handle all that power though a tiny 1/2in shaft.

Why do I feel like you're going to be disappointed? I hope I'm wrong. Those little motors only turn the wheels at 1/4 power the rest goes to the blade. I tried to stand on my selfpropelled, it didn't go well.

im pretty sure this one just has a worm gear going from the crankshaft to the reducer, im 90% sure ill be getting 100% of the power.

The pocket bike tranny I’ve used has a 12mm 6-splined main shaft.

You should see its internal pinion gear.

it looks the size of your baby fingernail.

ah crap, took it out for a spin today and heard a loud BANG and then the engine stopped.

lll need to open up the engine and see what broke
