Lawnmower bike

well, took it all apart, nothing, everything internal seems fine.

looked at the carb and the slides reversed now! looks like i overstressed the plastic carb and the valve went 180!

poped it back to normal and shes running!

Well, looks like this build is taking a twist.

Got a hold of a bunch of flathead engines.

Im going to try converting this into a rear rack drive, since why not!

Fabbed up a engine plate for it.

Now im waiting on a clutch and gear drive.

The main Lawnmower engine is getting more and more smokey, guess they dont like to run at 7k for 2 hrs.

Mark, that motor in the frame isn't going to work. Your legs, feet reaching the pedals will never happen. You probably know this, any effort getting it to work may be futile.

Yea, im kinda bailing on that motor and going rear drive to save this project.
Figured it would be easier to adapt the 5hp and run a clutch then messing with the main one

Well, here's my progress on it now.

Reinforced the jackshaft even more, removed as much slop as possible.

Cut out the frame engine, just need my clutch and gear and were good!

Its going to be around 8.4:1
I can adjust this later, but it should be a good baseline.

I would rotate the pull-start but the choke is the old rear pull type, so ill still have to get up and pull start it, it doesn't bother me too much.
