Doesn't all that weight of the motor on the rack induce shaking and balance problems? It just doesn't look very stable sitting up there.

Not really, i can pedal it like a normal bike.

Only thing that's wonky is the front tire doesn't get a lot of weight so the kickstand is somewhat unbalanced. Still has 2 wheels on the ground, but not ideal.

Oh yeah, the back heater is going to be fun, great winter option!
