That's why I wear real riding gear on my motorcycle too. All you need to see is one person's arm or leg scraped off to the bone to convince you of it.

Oh my. Thanks for the reminder. I have been a bit lax on my motorcycles in the nice weather.
I find it the hardest to stick to wearing all the safety stuff when it crawls into the mid 90's and the humidity is 100%

That is about the worst helmet scrape I have ever seen.
I did some digging on that picture and it seems many people aren't convinced it's real. Supposedly the guy wearing it crashed at 70mph into a bus. I have seen a helmet after sliding along the ground from an 85ish mph crash and it didn't look THAT bad. I can only assume it somehow came off and got stuck under a vehicle as it was moving.
