LH freewheel hubs

G'day folks,
I currently run a Greenspeed GLO tadpole http://www.recumbentblog.com/images/112506a4.jpg
and have been thinking of going down the power assist route. My main problem has been finding a rear hub with a LH threaded freewheel and the ability to take a Shimano 8 speed hyperglide cluster.

Or is there a RH threaded freewheel that is splined for hyperglide ?

Or an 8 speed threded freewheel that is compatible with 105 hardware ?

Cheers,
Pete

8-speed freewheels/LH freewheel hubs

Staton-Inc. makes a heavy duty hub that is lefthand threaded on the left side of the hub, and threaded for a freewheel on the right. Sachs used to make 8-speed freewheels that were shimano compatable. You can usually find them at bike swapmeets at pretty reasonable prices as almost nobody uses them thes days. You may even be able to find them NOS at a place like Loose Screws, or maybe Rivendell Bicycles.

FWIW, i bought my 7-speed Shimano hyperglide from STATON. they also have 8-speed Sunrace model, both thread-ons.

left-hand freewheel sprocket available from STATON. a 48t freewheel sprocket available from......
