Worse time I've seen in my life are these times. I mean everyday a new tragedy takes place .
A new tragedy happens every day since the beginning of time. I am not trying to argue or be contrary. Nothing is new under the sun my friend. Life is all about your outlook. Something "bad" can happen today (in your opinion) but maybe in 30 years because of that "bad thing" your world will change for the better. Long story short, my infant sister's death in like 1980 saved my daughter's life in 2004. Everything works in accordance with God's plan.

The bottom line, stay happy, optimistic, and safe.

I won't go into my life story and the large number of setbacks and s**tty situations I have been in. All I will offer is a pearl of wisdom and inescapable truth that has helped keep me going.

It's a line from a great book and also movie, the Shawshank Redemption. "Get busy living, or get busy dying."

You can accept the bad things as they are and work with them or around them to achieve your goals, or you can let them pile up on you until you are unable to breathe anymore and can't take the weight.

Life does suck. I agree. It's a losing battle, and one we all have to face. Why not get the best out of it you can and give yourself a small reward for putting up with it.

O I'm a happy go lucky dude I've seen much s**t in my life but I value the s**t days to. They make the average days great
Life's wonderful but it sure is hard work
Matthew 6:33-34......Berean Standard Bible
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.

Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

I'm not to sure but the brakes was jerking I stopped it looked ok to me.
I suspect at this point, there were hairline cracks... if you ran your finger over the rim you'd probably feel ridges at that point... that was what was causing the jerkiness most likely...

Dude... this ordeal you went through has me SERIOUSLY thinking about Tangs front rim. Seriously. Homie just don't do that. I am most concerned as I noticed that the black on the rim is rubbing away... OBVIOUSLY this rim wasn't designed for rim brakes (coming off a beach cruiser with coaster brakes)...

I will be either upgrading to a "rim brake" specific rim, double walled... or will be moving to disc front on her before Spring.
