So, is there any type of gas cap that can lock with a key? It's always been a concern of people putting stuff in my tank, and that would be really unfortunate. I've seen lots of scooter caps that lock, but im not sure what's compatible with the Chinese gas tanks.

I've never even thought of that. Thank you. Now I can worry about something else when I park my bike in unfamiliar locations.
Why bother with a locking cap...If they can't get their jollies with putting something in your gas tank, they will usually just yank out your gas line or just cut it in revenge is all thats going to be accomplished...lol.

I did, but it came with the tank and it seals really well.

I actually came out of an establishment while I had my bike locked up outside... my rear rim brake was unhooked, if that makes sense. You know how you undo it to remove your wheel? Well, they undid that clip.

That's why I have 2 loud alarms, a cellphone notifier and a tracking chip on my bike. I also have a U lock and a cable lock.

So far been blessed with no issues such as that. If I ever did get a notification. I'd immediately go to my bike with the video recorder going on my phone. This way you'll have video of the vandal or thief to show to the police .

Disconnecting the front brake is the first step in removing the front wheel
Maybe someone was gonna steal your wheel?

Or it's just a smart azz disconnecting your brake, thinking it's funny

What ever happened it wasn't a cool thing for someone to do
