I bet that trike was thrown away because of a bent rear axle.

As you can see I heated it and tried to use a gear puller and bent the hub = Didn't move

Thanks for the pic, you'll have to drill a hole into the middle of that keyway, make it as wide as the keyway, then pry it up with a heavy screwdriver or small bar.
