Looking for some speed

My bike has been running now for 2 weeks I have the Dragon Fire 66cc/80cc Flying Horse 2-Stroke Engine Kit. Looking at reviews one said that after 2 weeks his broke loose and hit 40 mph! Sadly mine is barely hitting 15 or 20. I'm wondering what is there that I can do in order to gain some speed or help break it in faster! Thanks for your knowledge!

jet it right.
plane the head and top of the cylinder for good sealing (might as well take off at least 1mm from the head to increase compression which increases power)
take a little off the bottom of the piston skirt at the intake side for a longer intake duration. (see my site for details)
put an iridium plug on it
put a less restrictive air filter on it
