I'm looking for the rather ingenious follow who made and posted this photo on the site. Check out the rather long link below:
Its a rear wheel flange to attach the rear sprocket.

I just ordered one of those from Justin at Pirate Cycles, it arrived last week and looks sweet. I think he has some more in inventory. Yes they are made by Jim, Manic Mechanic.

Edit, sorry, I meant the part posted about halfway down, not the one in question by the original poster.
