The only thing left to take off on the engine is the magnet, to pull the case apart. I know there is a key holding the magnet in place maybe it is getting stuck on the key? I can pull it out 1/4 of an inch and it will just stop no matter how hard I pull with the vice grips or pry with the flat head screwdrivers it wont budge! 
Yes I have taken the wire loop out. I can spin the magneto magnet and it spins the crank but I just cant pull it off. And yes I have removed the nut holding it on place. Any help would be appreciated, maybe a picture of what the crank shaft and key look like after the magnet is taken of. I dont know if it is a woodruf key or a hex.
