Magneto powered lights

If your Magneto is supplying power to the spark plug to run your motor what would be the shortage in electrical current if you ran lights off of your Magneto because I was told that it actually takes away in the engine performance

depending on how much you draw, it can kill the ignition completely

So this idea is probably better if using just a blinking tail light or a blinking headlight? I have some of those blue LED lights under my bike that I run at night, you know like those cars that have underglow. I was thinking of running those off the Magneto but I don't want to kill the engine

I doubt you'll find more than 3 folks on whole forum that are trying to use mag to power something.

I tried, didn't even get spark with lights.
