I live in the high desert of Idaho and it gets over 100 degrees here some days during the summer. It's not Las Vegas or Phoenix by any stretch, but it's hot.
Is it advisable to operate these little engines in such heat? At what temp should I be wary about operation?
Also... how 'long' of continual operation do you guys run? Would I be good to go for a 10 mile run non-stop? 15 mile? 20?
If you're running at say 3/4 throttle ... do you run a constant speed or do you vary it? I've heard these motors like different RPMS.. etc?
... as I am now getting out of break-in territory I'd like to know some "best practices" for these things. While they are cheap, I'd certainly rather keep `er running.
ALSO... there is a gentleman on youtube that advocates running these things at 40:1 from birth to death... what say you?? (He uses a saying I find somewhat funny... "Ride it like you stole it!").
