Maxxis Holy Rollers??

I'd rock them. Maxxis is a great brand, they are wire bead, and that tire profile looks like an excellent hybrid tire so it can handle most surfaces.
That's what I was thinking. They look like they'd have good grip on most surfaces, plus I don't rode a whole lot, mostly just recreation. I don't need these tires to last thousands of miles, but I would prefer they last longer than 25 miles lol

Knobbier tires will have a shorter life on pavement vs. a more "city" or road tire too. This tire is kind of inbetween, but I bet you will get at least a few hundred miles at minimum.

Yeah, the semi slicks that come on the bike are almost bald after 25 miles. Not cool. Since this bike is more of a Sunday cruiser and not a daily commuter, tires that last a ton of miles aren't really a concern of mine.

I have a rule of thumb I use with tires. Will they last 5 years? After 5 years, tires are basically at the end of practical life from aging and will start dry rotting/cracking or just start getting super hard.

Just for example, if I was a middle aged doctor that bought a Harley so I could polish it every weekend and only put 1000 miles a year on my bike, almost any crappy tire would do because there is no point in buying some super high end, expensive, touring tire designed to go 10,000 miles if I will only put half that on them in that 5 year window.

Yeah, if I still lived where I could constantly ride it I would definitely get some lasting tires. But I don't feel like riding this bike down Ky route 3 is a good idea, so it's more of a Sunday cruiser. I'll definitely ride it more after I get my truck registered and the bit of work it needs done. Then I'll at least be able to take it somewhere.

I think I'm going to get the 26" x 2.2" since the tread wraps over to the side. I think the 2.4" will have horrible clearance issues. I'll have probably 50 -60 bucks into each tire including the tubes and liners I'm gonna use.

What percentage street vs dirt? I have been running continental gp 5000 on my road bike and they just glide. A good quality slick tire rides nice. Despite being only 28mm wide they ride super comfy.

These seem nicd but I haven't tried them. WTB ThickSlick Comp tire https://a.co/d/aefa1VZ

I bought a 26x2 tire for the gpas build and it rides nice. Very durable. E-bike rated. Continental Contact Plus Travel Bike Tire - E-Bike Rated, SafetyPlus Puncture Protection, All Terrain Bicycle Tire (26", 28") https://a.co/d/2xzSWK8
