I'm considering a possibility of building my BT80 into a Minarelli highbrid. Would this be a good idea or not? Do you think the centrifugal clutch would handle the power or would I need to replace the springs in it?

It wont work for a few reasons, no the centrifugal clutch won't hold regardless of springs, you need 600 -800 lb springs to hold the power.
The standard 66 or 69cc case has a lower case volume and is best suited to a hybrid build and even then it's higher than what the cylinders were intended for thus losing some of the potential power expected, and so the bt case would be even worse. Plus there are other issues with the timing and so on.
