Found something chewed through and "fixed" it. Not in the photos but new pump is installed! My hands hurt from being in a fuel tank for an hour

Yep...look like squirrels and/or other rodents...This was quite common to see in back in New England...Amazing the BMW guys didn't see this and fix it when they had it to work on...lol.

ok so the lack of power is because one of my head studs is crossthreaded. Tried using an old head stud not long enough. What are your tips or tricks?

Double nut the old stud to remove it, & then install a new 1.

Havent you blown up like 3 engines already, pull 1 of the studs out of another engine. If you dont have any old engines. If not Get some B7 all-thread in 8mmX1.25mm pitch & make a new 1.

running to the hardware store with my old stud see what I can get after school. Lets hope the engine block isnt stripped. If it is, im just gonna get a pk80 with 8mm studs, drill out my athena, build that and tap this engine

I thought all the minarelli hybrids used 8mm studs? I guess I'm wrong, I'm sorry. If they got any B7 all-thread in your size that would work also. You would just have to cut to the length you needed. See if they have any of this.
