I rebuilt an old/abandon 2 stroke 66/80cc engine, that had been in the corner for ages, rust parts in a box. Then deided to use my trusty beach cruiser as the donor, my vision for the project was kind of a board track/early 1920s bike, the frame had to be cut and modified to fit the engine and the forks had to be dressed up a bit, using some of the lessons learned from preious projects the chain tensioner bracket and rear carrier brackets with a scratchbuilt carrier, I tried to be clever and make a way to have the cables go through the frame, it worked before, but I did'nt do my homework properly and only one managed to work out, but it's better than none. In a pinch I decided to make a fake tank out of 3/16" plywood and put a small tank in a tool box at the back. I also forgot to make a plan to fit the front brake befor mods to the front fork, but managed to fit them behind the wheel, mods to the seat work so far and all systems are go for a first shake down test this week, still loads of work to do but it's on it's own two wheels.
