I don’t believe so, D put it the best way I know, break it in like you would season a cast iron skillet.

Was just watching a vid on it by build break fix. I wonder if it would be possible to use a different piston material with the iron. I wonder why old iron block Briggs engines and car engines don't soft seize? Is it because there's more lubrication over a 2 stroke? Maybe lower rpm?

Build, Break, AKA, Little Care Bear, AKA, Evil Care Bear on various forums, youtube, Fakebook etc. is responsible for more damaged motors and bad advice than almost anyone else I can think of though there are more than a few that are guilty of misinformation...lol...lol.

Briggs are forced air cooled, autos are liquid cooled.

Right bike motors are just cooled by the air that goes past the fins

I know a Whizzer guy that does that to the piston, heads, cyl deck and valve heads

He swears it lowers the operating temp a bit
