clutch

Hi Quenton, I am interested in a modified clutch. I have a 2006 ne5 with a 90mm auto clutch.I was going to purchase a new one but did not know if whizzer has corrected their flaw.I'm new to this online stuff just need to know how to contact you. Thanks

Hi oldbones10,

No need to purchase a new clutch. If you upgrade your current clutch it will be far better than the latest version from Whizzer.
Because of the latest design changes [late 2008 versions]I can't [won't] rebuild the current production clutch hub. The metal has been machined so deep in the latest hub it lacks the needed metal to support the bearing shaft. I had several "snap" during normal assembly [pressing them together with my hands].

As long as you don't have the 2008 version with the pulley affixed with "roll pins", it can easily be rebuilt.

If you send the entire clutch I can also re-work the shoes in the process [no extra charge].
