I bought a mongoose electric electric bike for my 9yr old son with dead batteries but nice tires and frame. I replaced the batteries and the bike ran fine for a while however after a fall now has an electric problem. While parking the bike my son twisted the throttle so the bike fell on its side. Now the meter shows full battery but the motor would not revolve but only engages in "bursts." When I opened up the battery pack, the negative terminal was touching the motor controller and was a little "burnt." I turned the battery so it would not touch the controller however the problems continues. All the wires seems to be continuous with no brakes or apparent burnt. The controller electronics seems to immersed in rubberized/silicon with no burst capacitor or heat marks.
Please help me be a "hero" again. Its too bad since my son was just starting to like the bike.
