Hey guys, thought I would make my own build thread, so I can more easily track answers to questions I may have. (Being a newbie).
Ok... The build..
New handle bars, longer brake cable, and OCC handlebar bag we're the first thing . While waiting on engine kit.
Engine kit arrived, so... On it went.
Stock pipe for now...
I used the provided chain tensioner, but made a spring loaded set up out of the 2 pieces. Using the holes already in the rear axle dropouts. The smaller bracket went on the top hole and is a spring holder.
Ended up adding a second spring.. smaller spring to the bolt I used on the upper guide pully.. not a tensioner really, just a chain guide for that long stretch of chain.
You can see that pully here better.
Gas tank is mounted with the brackets screwed to top of bar upside down.. no pics of that. But here's the tank, keeping with the OCC theme.
Added front brakes..from an old donor bike.
Thru bolted, and used the 1/4 round part in a couple of mounting brackets, to reinforce, and disperse the pressure of the thru bolts on the forks. They hug the forks pretty good.
Well everything seems to be working as it should, I guess... Goes well, and stops well.
Thanks for stopping by..
