I just installed a new motor in a bike. this is my first time doing this. when i got it running at high RPMs there was a knocking noise coming from the motor. any ideas what this would be from and if it will go away.
Thanks

Just a heads-up... Breaking in most motors usually involve limiting your RPM for a few tanks of fuel. High RPMs are generally avoided for a new engine. Give the rings and bearings time to seat and wear down microscopic rough edges. Properly broken in, any engine will be more reliable.

True Mike, welcome to the "CHINA WORLD!" These little HT's do have a few interesting sounds during break in. Uno, just go easy first few hundred miles................(Always vary speed also)
