motor stopped "help" small gear

Recentlyas I was happily riding along this grinding noise came from the motor sort of like the sound you hear when you miss a shift in a standard tranny. :-/Then the motor died. after getting home I pulled the cover off the right side of the motor and found the problem. There is a small gear that runs off the clutch gear, it is about the size of a half dollar (before inflation) and it was broken half-in to. Can this gear be replaced and if so does anyone have one I can buy. Guess I neen to inspect the keyway to be sure it is ok. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

It is item #5. When you reinstall it make sure your key is in good shape and also inspect the clutch gear as some of the teeth may have been damaged. I was able to clean them up with a dremel tool and file.
