I am new to this forum and gas Powered bikes. But I have a Bionx electric kit that I have been riding. Rear mounted motor and that is one wheel you do not want to get a flat on. It seems that the only tire that has been holding up is The Specialized Armadilla tires. Not cheap. The Bionx kit is heavier then what I plan on mounting on my bike but it is a Friction Drive and I am not finished with the Install, so they may not work on friction drive. Maybe a dedicated tire would be a good thing.
