if you asked me, i'd say you could shim the motor pretty far forward, by sliding it up a couple of inches, getting some longer studs, and adding a couple inch thick piece of metal under the rear mounting bracket, that would shift your engine up and forward and might let you get a small sprocket on the crank

here's an example, you can see where he put a couple of washers, just imagine like an inch or so thick shim. it would push the whole engine up and forward some. you might have to do the heater hose intake trick to get the carb to fit but I think you could get the engine out of the way a fair bit more and have room for actual pedals

Haha I actually shortened the rear mount with a hacksaw :LOL:

There is very little space to move the engine at all. I'm gonna hafta come up w a different spark plug clip thing

Ok I redid the mount, still no room for chainring, but at least now I can change the plug w/o pulling the motor first:LOL:

How much above the carb should the tank be? the petcock is at the same level as the carb...
