Hello, I just stumbled by as I was looking into what's available online as far as building a custom electric bike/motorcycle/whatever. In the first few minutes looking around here, I found more information than in the past two days looking at various web sites selling stuff. I live in So Cal in a very hilly area and about 12 miles from work. I just helped my son build an e bike with a wheelchair motor, some old LAB's, and a golfcart controller. I would love to take it to the next level and build an electric commuter. Something solid and very custom. Something with some horsepower and range. I'm thinking a vtec and a bunch A123's. Very curious what others have done. Thanks for being here!
