Mount Options For External Tank

Solux an idea I have is to use a tank mounted above the uchannel with only one out let tied into the OEM tank return line with a T connector. Above tank would always keep bottom tank full. Only issue is gas pouring out of the lower fill cap, it shouldn't though because it was designed to be operated in any position. Plus it's a Honda design, I'm just not 100% sure though. Do you get the concept? What are your thoughts?
I think I kind of understand what you're saying. Basically have two tanks, both pulling gas up, then one return line to OEM tank, T off and run to second tank?

Sorry I'm more of a tech guy, but getting more understanding of all things mechanic lol.

My first FD from Staton had a very large tank bolted onto the top of the channel.

The tank developed a crack while riding, which poured gas down my axx crack.

I might just get two Primus bottles, someone suggested that. I just need to find two cheap holders for them. Something to hold the 1 liter or the 1.5 liter version.

Well instead of coming up with some sort of mount or plumbing a line to an external tank, I found a cheap option. About $15 for the frame bag on Amazon. lol

2 liter full of gas fits perfectly. As well as my U lock, cable lock, tube, lever, etc. I know people advise against using a plastic bottle. But I know people who have stored gas in them for years with no issues.

I didn't want a 1 gallon jug on the side or anything to keep a clean look. So bag worked out well. And it's thin. Figured 2 liters is just over half a gallon, so should be more than I need for my 20 mile rides.

Solux, much better idea.
Thanks, I even have room for a water bottle mount on the bottom tube. So could use a Primus bottle for even more fuel storage, but most likely won't need it.

Just going to keep some H20 in there.
