Mounting a Motorcycle Headlight

I like the light amazing. I want one now. Dam you. lol.


I'm really good at spending other's money for them in parts suggestions.. LOL. Just don't get that one.

I had to order another one, for the updated LED guts... that one had a licence plate cut-out i don't want, so i'm gonna be combining parts from 2... in the meanwhile, the one that i do have, acts as a fabrication pattern in the interim.. 3/16" angle bracket cut down and filed for a good long evening in front of a movie or three.

I see a belt going to the rear wheel.

What's your pulley setup like?


You commented on my thread, back in October, LOL.. It's about done. I still have yet to wire, attach a chain, and get it outside, but it's all but functional and done. The belt drive works on the bench, statically. It required a fair amount of precision alignment/shimming of belt tensioner to perpendicular to make work without pulling the belt off the front cog.

The whole area of that bike, now serves multiple roles - belt tension, structural support for tail light, 48v6ah battery tray.
